KIM BIREL (CUPID)
Having first been on stage at the Conservatoire in 2007 for „Goldlöckchen“, Kim started doing English Drama in school where she played in „Witch Hunt“ and „Selfie“. She joined the BGT for „Charles Dickens - The Best of Men, the Worst of Men“, in January 2020 and subsequently made her stage sword-fighting debut as Roaslind in We Happy Few in December 2021. She has since become a regular of BGT shows, playing Aasha Manitou in Eloïse Heger-Hedloy's new play about the poetry of Emily Dickinson, "I Can't Tell You - But You Feel it" , The Story-Teller in "Daisy Pulls It Off" and Sophie Bernard in the interactive muder mystery "Murder on the Moselle". "Amare" will be her 6th BGT production.
KIm is also on the organising committee for the Festival of English-Language School Theatre (FEST asbl), where she has been Treasurer since 2020.
NATACHA STEVENIN (AMELIA)
Natacha is a psychologist with a longstanding passion for theatre, which began during her high school years. She recently graduated from the University of Luxembourg, where she completed her master’s thesis on theatre-based entertainment education. She is the founder, scenario writer, director and coordinator of the ‘BelvalExpress Theater’ at the University of Luxembourg. Since 2019, Natacha has written and directed several plays with psychological themes, including ‘At the Dinner Table’, ‘Broken’, ‘Mirrored, Reflected & Reversed’, ‘Endless Lies’, ‘My Mental Misfortune’, ‘Fear Mission Control Center: Fight or Flight’, ‘Blameworthy’, and ‘The Philautia Paradox’. The BelvalExpress Theater was awarded the Student Initiative Award in 2021 by the University of Luxembourg.
From 2021 to 2022, Natacha collaborated as a first-time director with the founder of the Courage Film Collective on three short-movies. Additionally, she acted in the German short film ‘Marie auf dem Mond’.
Her first BGT show was in 2024 when she played the central role of Katie in Ferelith Kingston's "The Good Guy"

JOSIE HATCH (WILLOW)
osie is a student at the International School of Luxembourg (ISL), where she has performed in several musicals, including Into The Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story, and Les Miserables. She also acted in the plays Monsters and The It, which were performed at FEST (Festical of English-Language School Theatre). Josie is enrolled in IB Theatre and has recieved multiple LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) awards with distinction. In 2022, she worked as a stage-hand in the BGT’s Di And Viv And Rose and participated in the workshop programme to help develop I Can’t Tell You - But You Feel It. in 2023. In March 2024 she played the role of “Sybil” in the BGT’s production of Daisy Pulls It Off and in October played various roles in "The Good Guy" by Ferelith Kingston. In November she then appeared in the Pirate Productions performances of The Sound of Music (as Lisl) and in December in the ISL production of Chicago (as Roxy).
Amare will be her fourth BGT production.
CAILIN REIFF (DEB)
Cailin Reiff, 16, is an eager young performer whose recent work includes co-writing and directing the ESL1 musical Wings and starring as Brigid in Shape of the Grave for FEST 2024. Other notable credits include Clare Beaumont in Daisy Pulls it Off (BGT, 2024), Aftermath (ESL1, 2024), and Trap! (ESL1, 2023), along with a featuring as an extra in Anne Simon’s short film Fade to Black (2024).
Active in theater since 2022, Cailin’s upcoming roles include Bailey in Stuart Arden’s Witch Hunt (ESL1, 2025) and a role in BGT’s Amare (2025). She continues to audition and aim for further work opportunities.
GILLES FERNADES MOTA
Gilles first started doing theater through the English Drama option in his school, where he played in “15 Reasons not to be in a Play” ,which was performed at FEST (Festival of English-Language School Theatre) in 2024, and “Imagination”. He then joined the BGT for a role in the LEAPA Murder mystery "Murder on the Moselle" in June 2024, written by June Lowery and performed on the Princesse Marie-Astrid. In October 2024 he played a number of rolesin the BGT production of The Good Guy by Ferelith Kingston, perflormad at Neimënster. "Amare" will be his 3rd BGT show.
SABRINA FERNANDEZ (JENNIFER)
Sabrina Fernandez is a former Lycée classique de Diekirch student who took the English Drama Classes there for three consecutive years. Her favourite role there was the character 'Leah' in Dennis Kelly's play 'DNA' in 2019. In January 2020, she played the roles of Maria and Queen Victoria in BGT's 'The Best of Men, the Worst of Men' and the following year appeared in various sketches in the BGT review show "The Corona Virus Chronicles". After doing her Masters degree at Trinity College, Dublin, she returned to Luxembourg she returned to Dublin, where she played Pia Thill in the BGT/LEAPA murder mystery "Murder on the Moselle" , by June Lowery. "Amare" will be her 4th BGT show.

JUNE LOWERY (CHRISTINE)
une Lowery first fell in love with theatre when the RSC started annual tours to her home town Newcastle in 1977. She met Tony Kingston at university, where they worked together on many student productions, with June in the lighting box in an all-female tech crew. A founding member of BGT eV in Berlin, she was persuaded to move from crew to cast in BGT’s 2nd production "Lettice And Lovage", and has happily mixed back stage and on stage action ever since. Favourite roles include Cordelia in "King Lear," Olivia in "Twelfth Night", Ruth in "Blithe Spirit" (twice) and the lead role of Hetty Oaks in "We Happy Few" in December 2021 In April 2023 she played Emily Dickinson's mother in I Can't Tell You But You Feel It" and in March 2024 appeared as Mrs Granville in "Daisy Pulls It Off". In October 2024 she returned to the lighting box for the BGT production of "The Good Guy" by Ferelith KIngston.
In addition to acting abd lighting, June has also adapted and written multiple scripts for the stage, including "Jane Eyre", "Little Women", "A Christmas Carol" and "The Best of Men, the Worst of Men". She has also written a number of interactive murder mysteries, most recently "Murder on the Moselle", performed by the BGT for LEAPA in June 2024).
BJØRN CLASEN (DAVID)
Infected by the incurable thespian virus in 2007, Bjørn has been on stage in many BGT productions since — starting as Oberon in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, going via Mr Rochester in Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre, to Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and then playing Dickens himself in June Lowery’s biographical Best Of Men, Worst Of Men. Most recently he played Mr Thompson in Daisy Pulls It Off and Maurice Bernard in the interactive murder mystery Murder on the Moselle.
Before and after graduating as a Stage Director from the Theaterakademie Mannheim in Spring 2023, Bjørn has directed a few short plays, most recently the two-hander Last Chance Saloon for the 2023 Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies. In November 2023, he co-directed and played a part in the interactive murder mystery Scherenschnitt (Shear Madness), which will be performed at the Theatrium Steinau and the Frankfurter Autoren Theater.
REWA JAIN (LENA)
Rewa Jain is an aspiring actor/director, in her penultimate year at the International School of Luxembourg. She made her theatrical debut in a 5th grade production of Rock Bottom. Since then she has taken part in numerous musicals and plays, starting with West Side Story. Next she played the role of Luciana, in Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors, and then Helena, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In 2022, Rewa choreographed and acted in the musical Moana. Most recently, Rewa co-directed a middle school production of The Ramayana and helped choreograph it. She is also currently an IGCSE drama student. In December 2023 she performed in the ISL production of Into The Woods, followed by the school's production of The It at FEST 2024 in the Rotondes, Luxembourg in February 2024. In December, as well as choreographing and assistant directing, she also played June in Chicago at the school. Her first BGT production was Daisy Pulls It Off, as Belinda, at Neimënster in March 2024.
In addition to theatre, Rewa has been dancing since she was six years old (1st grade), taking ballet and jazz classes. In the summer of 2022, Rewa took part in Dance School Cathy Moes by Li Marteling’s Just Dancing ’22 show at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg.
NINA RUGGIERI (JACKIE)
Nina is a student at the International School of Luxembourg, where she was enrolled in IGCSE Drama and now in IB Theater. Her experience performing began with roles in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and later Comedy of Errors. She also took part in the experimental productions of Monsters by Niklas Radstrom and The It by Vivienne Franzmann, performed at FEST 2022 and 2024 respectively, and has assisted directing a production of the play Ramayana. She has performed on several stages as a dancer too, including the Blockparty and On Stéitsch, and has used these skills in her theater work, for example in the Broadway Musical Review, a show at her school. Amare is her first show with the BGT English Theater Company.

HANNE SIEBENS (WRITER and CO-DIRECTOR)
Hanne is a student at the International School of Luxembourg (ISL), where she is studying IB Drama. She was exposed to theatre from a very young age, taking part in after school drama when she was little. Since the 5th grade, she has been in various school productions, some of which included "Twelfth Night" and "Comedy of Errors" by William Shakespeare, and "The Internet Is Distract-- Oh Look A Kitten!" by Ian McWethy.
In 2022 she performed in a piece by Niklas Radström called "Monsters", performed at FEST 22 (Festival of English Language School Theatre) at the Mierscher Kulturhaus, Luxembourg. She also attended Teenage Stage International Summer School in Ireland during the summer of 2022, where she attended a course on acting for the screen. In her spare time, she also enjoys writing. In December 2023 she appeared as the Narrator in the ISL production of Steven Sondheim's "Into The Woods" followed by the school's production of "The It" by Vivienne Franzman at FEST 2024 two months later. Her first BGT production was "Daisy Pulls It Off" , as Monica, in March 2024.
TONY KINGSTON (DIRECTOR)
Tony did his M.A. at St Andrews University in the mid-1980s. Since starting work as a director with Foundation Theatre on the London Fringe in 1986, he has directed over 100 shows. He moved to Berlin in 1989 with his wife June, where they co-founded the BGT English Theatre Company in 1991. The BGT became a regular feature on the off-theatre circuit there, performing a wide range of plays by English-language authors. In the early 2000s the company began visiting Luxembourg on a regular basis and since 2006 has been based exclusively in Luxembourg. Tony splits his time between running multiple theatre classes in schools around Luxembourg and directing for the BGT. Through his work in schools here, he has become convinced of the high level of theatrical ability among young people and is committed to promoting new and promising talent through the BGT. In 2018 he co-founded the “Festival of English Language School Theatre” (FEST) and is currently chair of the organising committee for the event (https://www.fest.lu/). In recent years, he has also become a strong advocate of putting women centre stage, promoting work by women writers and producing plays which feature mainly or exclusively female actors. Recent examples of this are The Best Of Men - The Worst Of Men, The Road to Huntsville, We Happy Few, Di and Viv and Rose, Daisy Pulls It Off and, most recently, The Good Guy. He is excited to be working again on a new show with a talented team of performers.
